Install · public release coming soon
Install Remote CTRL on your server.
The image and the install guide open to everyone with the public release. Until then, we hand out early access by email.
What you will need
- A Linux x86-64 machine with Docker and Docker Compose
- About 10 minutes
- Network access from that machine to the servers you want to reach
Everything else, Apache Guacamole and its database included, comes in the image.
How it goes
- Download the Compose file and the settings template
- Set your secrets in
.env - Run
docker compose up -d - Open it in the browser and create the administrator
- Optional: paste a license key in About to switch to Enterprise
Your data stays with you
Hosts, credentials and history live in one Docker volume on your machine, with saved secrets encrypted. Free runs fully offline. Enterprise only sends its license key and a random installation ID to renew the license.
