This website
remote-ctrl.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Fonts and all other files are served from this domain, so your browser does not contact any third party.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data of each request, such as your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested. We do not combine this data with anything else. Cloudflare may process it outside the European Union under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Emails you send us
When you write to an @remote-ctrl.com address, we use your email address and message only to answer you, for example to send a quote, early access or a license key. Mail is hosted by Zoho in its European data centers. We keep the conversation as long as needed to handle your request and any license that follows from it, and as long as the law requires for business records.
The license service
An Enterprise installation of Remote CTRL contacts license.remote-ctrl.com to activate and renew its license. It sends only the license key and a random installation ID. We store a hash of the key, the installation ID and the activation dates, so that each key works on one installation at a time. Nothing about your servers, users, credentials or sessions is sent. The Free edition does not contact the license service.

- Delivering and protecting the website: our legitimate interest in running a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Answering your emails and providing licenses: steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@remote-ctrl.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
