Questions before you buy
Who counts as a user?
Every account on the installation, administrators included. Delete accounts you no longer need to free a seat.
How do I activate a license?
Once your order is confirmed you receive a license key by email. An administrator pastes it in About, and the server switches to Enterprise straight away.
Can I use one key on more than one server?
A key works on one installation at a time. To move to a new server, remove the license in About on the old one, then activate it on the new one.
Does the server need internet access?
Enterprise checks its license once a day and keeps working for 7 days if the check cannot get through. Servers that never reach the internet can use an offline license: contact us.
What do you receive from my server?
Only the license key and a random installation ID. Nothing about your servers, users, credentials or sessions leaves your installation.
What happens if the license ends?
The installation returns to Free. No data is deleted. Until you renew or remove the extra accounts, only the first administrator can sign in.
